The Simferopol city council has made the decision on granting to Spiritual steering of Moslems of Crimea the permission to working out of the project of offtake of 2,7 hectares around 22, Yaltinskaya Street under building of the Cathedral mosque. With the request to make the given decision to deputies of the Crimean capital the head of the government of an autonomy Vasily Dzharty has addressed directly.
In particular, addressing to deputies of the City Council, the Crimean prime minister has noticed that this point in question «has ripened». «Many long years politicians spoke about it, discussed, forbade. By and large, nobody could tell, and why the city council of last convocations was against allocation of the ground area for mosque building. Do in Crimea Russian or Ukrainians live only? We perfectly know that in Crimea lives the multinational people, but all nationalities without an exception are the people of Ukraine and all without an exception have the right to the culture, on the religion. And I am assured that the city council represents inhabitants of all nationalities living in a city, and to politize it it is not necessary», — Vasily Dzharty has told.
According to the chairman of the council of ministers of Crimea, the given problem doesn’t exist at all. «It is necessary to put an end to this nonexistent problem. It exists only in minds of separate people, and I know, politicians argue that we will not be supported by the slavic population. Believe, it is a lie. Very long time ago all nationalities living in Crimea, live in peace, nobody wants any crashes. All want normal life», — he noticed.
Politized Vasily Dzharty considers also statements of ecologists, who said what to build the Cathedral mosque in the Yaltinskaya Street is impossible, as it is a water security zone. «As soon as something is connected with a policy, somehow at once ecologists speak, it is impossible, it is inadmissible. Round this point in question there is a political orgy. Why till today were against building of the given mosque? Why deputies of city council of last convocations and executive power of last convocation was against this mosque? And all understand it as any auctions. Don’t we have mosque in the city of Simferopol? We don’t have mosques in other cities, villages, settlements? Why against this mosque, why to this address? I repeat that today there is no prohibition and from the point of view of ecology and others in definition of a place and finding possibility to this address of a mosque», — the Crimean prime minister has underlined.
