On May, 18th — day of national grief and memory of the Crimean Tatar people on victims of a criminal policy of the totalitarian mode expressed in reprisals, ethnic cleaning — eviction from Crimea and physical destruction in a mode special settlements of 46,2 % of the people, in semicentenial deduction of the people deprived of civil rights in exiled the edges which have been carried out in the tideway of strategy «Crimea — without the Crimean Tatars».

In 1969, in a year of the 25 anniversary of deportation,the Crimean Tatar people declared that will mark on May, 18th as Day of National mourning. Since then annually Crimean Tatars leave on universal meetings, to honour memory of all victims of the genocide spent at the state level. Against this misanthropic policy the Crimean Tatar people, with support and sympathy of all advanced people of the country and the world, have developed struggle lasting to this day for restoration of the rights and conditions.

Since 1989 by the higher legal decision of USSR of the politician of destruction of national existence of the Crimean Tatars has been recognised by illegal and criminal, the course on restoration of national integrity, equality, statehood of the Crimean Tatar people, stated in its Order and the Declaration on the national sovereignty of the Crimean Tatar people and being the purpose of its struggle has been declared. Ukraine — the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic from which it inherited not only territory, the population, natural resources and created by work of preceding generations material and spiritual riches and values. The present political mode is the successor of historical debts of the former authorities in the relation to the Crimean Tatar bpeople. In practice the Ukrainian power continues to pursue a policy of assimilation and destructions of the Crimean Tatars as nation. For 19 years of the power of Ukraine in a pointed manner and obstinately ignore necessity of creation of legislative and sociopolitical bases for restoration of national equality of the Crimean Tatar people.

It is necessary for such policy to oppose own tactics and strategy.

And life realities show experience, only having organised around politically mature, is moral a faultless organizational kernel — national party — the Crimean Tatars will manage to realise fundamental national problems: to restore national integrity, statehood and cultural-economic compactness of the Crimean Tatar people in borders of ethnic territory.

And such party is today. It is People party Milli Firka.
