The president of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko considers that if Ukraine will lose democracy it will lose also independence. He has declared it in interview to «5 channel», is informed on a site of the candidate in presidents Victor Yushchenko.

«Last one and a half year we have spent pending, whether it will be possible BYT and Party of Regions through power distribution to create the constitutional revolution in the country», — has declared Yushchenko.

«The motive was very low — both forces do not really respect the Constitution or the law, and both would like itself to see in the political future the next 10-15 years. Also is better to make it, having agreed behind side scenes that, conditionally speaking, the President is selected in parliament, and the people here to what», — has told Yushchenko.

As he said, in plans of these political forces was to carry out «for two» the constitutional reform, that is revolution. «They receive the eternal prime minister, we receive the eternal President. Obviously, it is necessary to forget about democracy and freedom», — the President is indignant.

Yushchenko has noted — if Ukraine loses democracy it will lose also independence: «Because» these children »will lead us to that with loss of democracy we become a colony». In this context it has reminded of gas agreements from January, 2009 in which unfair conditions for Ukraine are registered.

The president has underlined that in the Constitution it is necessary to express changes to elections: «Each leader or each political force should declare, what its image when we speak about the power organisation in Ukraine».
