Scandal round rewarding of a mufti of Crimea by the Ukrainian award «For merits» III cross-shaped degrees proceeds in Crimea. In particular the weekly journal «Voice of Crimea» urges the spiritual leader of the Crimean Moslems to define accurately the position concerning the presidential award.
Let’s remind: charges of the Mufti of Crimea Emirali Ablaev concerning that it co-operates with the Ukrainian nationalist top and receives from it awards-crosses, earlier have caused appreciable irritation in Spiritual management of Moslems of Crimea. It was not pleasant to SCMUand the information on it in so different periodicals, as «the Voice of Crimea» and «Peninsula».
«We consider necessary to declare that the Mufti of Crimea did not receive from hands of the president of Ukraine any awards, including the specified award in the form of a cross. Besides, about rewarding in Muftijat have learnt… From the Internet, any documents and the award in Muftijat did not arrive», — assured SCMU of the recent statement of the press-service.
«Strange, — writes thereupon« the Voice of Crimea », — that the person presented to such high award, anybody about what did not warn. After all at filling awarding sheet the exact personal data is required. As have told to us in awarding department of Secretary of the president of Ukraine where we have addressed for explanations, delivery of awards to the religious figures who have received awards in honour of 18th anniversary of independence of Ukraine, it is planned to spend in Kiev after November, 9th».
Therefore Muftijat’s claims in the address the weekly journal «considers press-service unreasonable».
«And to go on award delivery to Kiev or not to go, having refused it, this choice remains for a mufti who as we believe, can find a worthy way out of this ticklish situation», — concludes the edition.
