On December, 8th, 2009 on Kurultaj the question on elections of members of Medzhlis of the Crimean Tatar people is discussed. During discussion of this question vice-president of Medzhlis Refat Chubarov has challenged to a nominee of the businessman, the owner of firm «Elim» Enver Abduraimov, applying for the post in Medzhlis of the Crimean Tatar people.

Chubarov initially refused to motivate the offtake reason, however as a result of the pressure rendered on him, has declared that his opinion speaks discontent with the scheme of the work applied by Abduraimov during the Simferopol regional conference at elections in Kurultaj.

In reply to it Abduraimov has demanded to mention the facts, however Chubarov has refused to result them. Remzi Iljasov has supported Enver Abduraimov. As a result of dispute voting by a question of offtake of a nominee of Abduraimov has been taken. By results of voting offtake of the businessman hasn’t been accepted.

In reply to this Refat Chubarov has given rejection, having expressed unwillingness to work with Abduraimov. After it rejection was made by Emine Avamileva and Ilmi Umerov. The end to dispute has put Mustafa Dzhemilev, absent all this time. He has suggested to announce results of elections of the Chairman of Medzhlis, and discussion to continue then. After announcement of results of elections, Dzhemilev, using powers of the Chairman of Medzhlis of the Crimean Tatar people, has challenged to a nominee of Abduraimov. After that the businessman has told that it won’t propose the nominee in members of Medzhlis that not «to destroy national movement».

And here the publication in «the Voice of Crimea» — interview to «man of the hour», young businessman Enver Abduraimov.

At the first session which have passed in a past week-end of V Kurultaj of the Crimean Tatar people the attention of delegates and visitors of national congress was involved with a conflict situation. During discussion of the elective list of members of Medzhlis presiding over Kurultaj Refat Chubarov declared offtake of a nominee of known businessman Enver Abduraimov, and having refused to motivate the position to delegates. As a result of the followed events E.Abduraimov’s nominee has been rejected. We have asked to comment on a situation «the hero of event».

— How wil you comment on a situation with offtake of your nominee on elections of members of Milli Medzhlis by vice-president of Medzhlis Refat Chubarov?

— My position extremely accurately has been explained even during offtake discussion. For today in national movement there was a situation when some national politicians of an old formation are disturbed by the low ratings in the people. Not all of them are ready to arrival to national elite and, in particular, in structure of Medzhlis of new forces, people of a new formation.

Last years these new people not only were designated, they had an effect the concrete affairs for the public good.

In a case with offtake of my nominee by Refat Chubarov the following moment is interesting: he has suggested to vote for the offtake to delegates of Kurultaj and has received no more than seventeen percent of votes. That is formal democratic procedure has been carried out, and, and, the majority hasn’t supported offtake. Surprises that for some active workers of national movement it wasn’t the basic moment, and the history of our movement testifies that the withdrawal from democratic principles is a way to deadlock.

I didn’t begin to be got involved in struggle for a place in the elective list as for me membership in Milli Medzhlis has no basic value though should recognize that our representative body won’t lose from presence of people of business.

I too respect our national elective bodies to put the person above them.

— What are your plans for the future?

— My plans haven’t changed: it is work, work and once again work, Position of our people obliges each of us to put a maximum of efforts for the prompt revival.

As the patriot I am ready to make efforts for achievement of these purposes. I will always follow the people without dependence from position occupied by me and a post.
