The collective of young drummers of «Genchlik» has faced serious obstacles on a way to «Minute of glory» from Crimea. Children live in steppe Tatar village, in the distance from sea resorts, and, of course, to go at first on a casting, and then to go also on shootings in the financial plan it has appeared for them almost unsoluble problem.
The director of a rural Recreation centre where they are engaged, cried from powerlessness: the necessary sum on tickets collected all area, but money all the same did not suffice. Managers of show were connected: to young drummers have found sponsors, and they have started on the journey. On the Russian-Ukrainian border two boys have been removed from a train because of problems with documents. But the others, despite all scrapes, all the same have reached a scene of «Minute».
— We have arrived here not for glory, — they admitted after shootings, — but to show that the Crimean Tatars have unique musical traditions …
