Does The New Crimean Prime Minister Continue To Clear Away Places For Natives of Makeyevka?

All heads of the regional state administrations of Crimea, appointed during Victor Yushchenko’s presidency, will be dismissed.

Such conclusion can be made of the words of the new chairman of the council of ministers of АRC of Vasily Dzharty told by it at a meeting with heads of villages and settlements of the Bakhchsarai area. As one of participants of this meeting has told, on sounded from one of rural goals the request to leave Ilmi Umerov on the post of the present head of Bakhchsarai district state administration, Dzharty has declared that does not intend to bring representation on people who were appointed by Yushchenko (according to the current legislation, on each candidate on a post of head DSA representation addressed to the President behind signatures of the speaker and prime minister АRC, and also the constant representative of the President in АRC) is brought.

Umerov — a member of Medzhlis of the Crimean Tatar people, the non-party, really, has been appointed to a present post during President Yushchenko, however during the stay of President Leonid Kuchma he worked on higher post of the vice-president of the Supreme Rada of Crimea. One more Crimean Tatar — Kadyr Osmanov — heads now the Kirov district state administration. During negotiations with Dzharty the management of Medzhlis suggested to save for the Crimean Tatars two these posts, and also asked to consider possibility of purpose someone from skilled Crimean Tatar managers on a post of the chairman of the district state administration of Belogorsky area where an order of 30 % of the population the Crimean Tatars make. However, instead of acquisitions, the Crimean Tatars while have only losses: In new government ARC they have already lost two posts — the minister of work and social policy and chairman of Reskomcommittee of a water management which have been given representatives of the political forces which have supported change of the power in Crimea — to party «Union« and Kunitsyn’s Block.

In the interview to the newspaper «Day» chairman of Medzhlis, the People’s Deputy of Ukraine Mustafa Dzhemilev (NU-NS) has declared that the Crimean Tatars do not intend «to ask alms in power». «We have such moods ripen that we can leave in general authorities in Crimea and generate the strongest in Ukraine opposition, but the decision we will accept after a meeting with the President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych which should take place shortly», — Dzhemilev has told.
