The European commission intends to give to Ukraine of 116 million euro on support of introduction of transport strategy, strategy of a national ecological policy and on support of the European policy of the neighbourhood.

The press-service of the first vice-prime minister, Minister of economic development and trade Andrey Klyuyev has informed on it.

Agreements on financing of three programs are signed between the Cabinet and Eurocommission.

It is noticed that agreements provide granting to Ukraine of resources on a gratuitous and irrevocable basis.

65 million euro it will be given on program realization «Support of introduction of transport strategy of Ukraine».

It provides realization of strategic priorities of development of national transport branch, introduction of institutional reforms in transport sector, improvement of a transport infrastructure.

Program realization will promote also to cooperation strengthening between Ukraine and the European Union concerning the priorities defined by agreements «Ukraine — EU» in transport sector, to assistance to the further rapprochement of the Ukrainian legislation with norms of EU both the international norms and standards, and also integration of Ukraine into transport systems of the European Union.

35 million euro the Eurocommission will allocate for the program «Support of realization of strategy of a national ecological policy of Ukraine» which is directed on reduction of ecological strategy to conformity with norms of EU and the priorities coordinated within the limits of the Plan of action «Ukraine — EU» and association agendas «Ukraine — EU».

The program provides granting of the help to the government on improvement of indicators of realization of an ecological policy, control system perfection in sphere of preservation of the environment and the account of ecological aspects in strategy of other branches, such as power, transport and the industry.

16 million euro it will be allocated for program realization «Twinning and the technical help for support of the European policy of the neighbourhood».

The purpose of this program is maintenance of development of potential of the basic institutes, establishments and the organizations in Ukraine for effective performance of the obligations defined by the agenda of association «Ukraine — EU».
