He has noticed that Turkey and Romania which are members of the NATO, will support separative movement of Tatars in Crimea as have territorial interests in Ukraine: «It is necessary to understand that to Ukraine, as well as any other state, at easing it will be shown more and more claims. Obvious or hidden. I wish to remind that for today in Turkey lives about one million Crimean Tatars. Residents of the Crimean Tatars in Istanbul openly work. According to population census of 1989, in Crimea lived 38 thousand Crimean Tatars that made 1,6 % of the population. By results of last for today allukrainian population censuses of 2001, in Crimea lived already 243,5 thousand Crimean Tatars that has made 12,1 % of the general population of peninsula.
