On a site of a consignment «Milli Firka» the first data about a choice of the Crimean Tatar voters at the first stage of the Ukrainian presidential race is published. As a whole, the appearance among the Crimean Tatars was more low, than on the average across Crimea. The favourite of their preferences became the prime minister Yulia Timoshenko. Nevertheless, Russian and Crimean voter voted for her even more actively.

According to the Central Electoral Committee the number of voters on the polling districts chosen by us has constituted 20314 persons. Have come to vote — 9800 persons. The three of leaders looks as follows: for Yulia Timoshenko 60 %, for Victor Yanukovych — 12 %, for Sergey Tigipko — 11,1 % have voted. For the working president 5 % of the Crimean Tatars have voted. As it is known, reminds a site, the Sanhedrim of the Crimean Tatar people «Namus» and «Milli Firka» have urged compatriots not to support on these elections anybody from candidates. This item was supported by 58 % of the Crimean Tatars: those who have not come to vote, those who voted against everything, and also those who has spoilt reports.
From total number of the Crimean Tatars having the right to vote, main «democrat» Yulia Timoshenko was supported by 28,9 %, — mark in «Milli Firka». Timoshenko have supported 117483 voters. For comparison: in 2004 of main «democratic» candidate Yushchenko in Crimea has supported almost 179000 voters.
