The chairman of the Supreme Rada of Ukraine Vladimir Litvin considers inadmissible creation of a national-territorial autonomy of the Crimean Tatars as a part of Ukraine. The speaker has declared it at press conference in Simferopol on October, 15th, making comments on the corresponding statement of Medjilis.
«As to the statement for creation of a national-territorial autonomy, I do not accept such statements», — Vladimir Litvin has told.
As he said, today Crimea has the autonomy status, therefore it is necessary to work filling this status with the real maintenance. «I am convinced that we should pass the law on differentiation of powers between Kiev and Simferopol. And, in my opinion, Crimea should receive economic independence to realise that potential which is enormous», — has told Vladimir Litvin.
Besides, he considers that about expansion of economic powers of an autonomy there can be a speech only after the election system under party lists will be cancelled, full inventory of property and the earth is spent, and also the system of ecological improvement of Crimea is developed.
