The All-Russia population census of 2010 is good possibility to reveal all national variety of the population of the Russian Federation. Let’s remind, the committee of the State Duma on economic policy and business recommended to approve in the first reading of the amendment in the legislation on population census. The document offers to add the law about personal given by position that the written approval of the citizen to processing of its personal data about a national identity is not required if this processing is necessary in connection with carrying out of the All-Russia population census. According to the current legislation of data on a national identity can be processed only from the written approval of the citizen. Also the bill makes amendments to the federal law «About the All-Russia population census» according to which rewritten sheets regarding data on a nationality can be filled by the persons who are carrying out gathering of data on the population, on the basis of the data given by it by citizens, or is direct the persons who are subject to the All-Russia population census.
