Many Crimean (and not only) mass-media have trumpeted details of recent tragedy in Jankoi where on June, 18th the 23-year-old local resident, suffering mental disease, has killed the five years’ boy, playing to a sandbox near the house. Suspected of commission of crime, has been detained later 3,5 hours from the moment of murder on a garage attic in the house of the father.
Certain political forces in Crimea — we will name them «war party» — have tried to give to the given tragedy character international and interreligious hostility. On light have pulled out a nationality suspected of murder and a victim which, on coincidence of circumstances, have appeared representatives not only different ethnic groups, but also religious faiths. Of especially zealous representatives «war parties» even have exorcised some (showing thus a complete ignorance of religious traditions) that actually in Jankoi «ritual murder» has been made. Thus supporters of the given version in every possible way ignore the fact of a mental illness of the suspect, doing an emphasis on his nationality and creed, and also calling representatives of an ethnic group to which the victim, to bloody vendetta belonged.
The awful twist of fate consists that 7 years ago in the same Dzhankoj area there was other murder of the child where from the point of view ethnic and «role» creeds have been distributed mirror, that is all was absolute on the contrary. Thus amazes set of coincidence between these two incidents: in both cases the child, and the murderer — the young man with mental deviations was a victim.
Why am I writing about it. Because, 7 years ago, to anybody in a head has not come to shout about a nationality of a victim and the murderer. «The war party», existing and then, did not become, as now to hold meetings and information pickets with the requirement to punish all representatives of a nationality which the murderer concerns. Only because, the nationality of the murderer coincided with their own, and the innocent victim was the representative of the people whom this «the war party» sincerely and spitefully hates for a long time.
I, describing both tragedies, have never mentioned a nationality of murderers and victims. Sincerely I believe and I consider that the crime has no nationality. And in «war party», by the way, it perfectly realise, but the desire to gain political points even on death of the innocent child nevertheless appears more strongly.
It is literally yesterday I got an old release of the newspaper «Peninsula» with article about that, seven-year prescription of tragedy in Jankoi. I result the full text of this publication.
TRAGEDY IN JANKOI
The 19-year-old schizophrenic has strangled six-year Medina Shabadinova
This chilling murder which has happened on September, 3rd, has literally shaken all inhabitants of village Medvedevka of Dzhankoj area. The 19-year-old local resident who has been recently written out from the Republican psychoneurological clinic, has strangled 6-year-old Medina Shabadinov with a belt from a dressing gown.
According to the Center of public relations of Central administrative board of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in АRC, the corpse of the girl has been found out in the evening of the same day in a cellar of not completed building. Almost all body of a victim has been connected by an adhesive tape, the mouth is stuck, there were obvious signs of violence. On disclosing of this resonant crime all forces of militia of Dzhankoj area have been thrown, there has into place arrived the Central board management, employees of criminal investigation department and Office of Public Prosecutor.
It is literally in three hours law enforcement officers have detained on suspicion in fulfilment of this brutal crime not working fellow villager Michael Kuznetsov, 1984 of a birth. It is known that the arrested person consisted on the account at the psychiatrist with the diagnosis a schizophrenia of 3 degrees.
According to preliminary data consequences, some days before murder the suspect has started to track down the victim and tried to get into contact. It is thus established that the villain prepared in advance — he has in good time looked after an empty building and has brought there a sticky tape. That ill-starred day when the girl left in a court yard, he has enticed nothing suspecting Medina into a cellar of not completed house, having suggested «to play, as at cinema» where has tied her and has tried to rape. After his attempt has terminated unsuccessfully (the child has died of shortage of air), the suspect has strangled the girl a belt from his dressing gown, and then has hidden a body to return at night and, having got rid of it, to cover up traces.
On a scene of crime law bodies have found proofs of fault of Kuznetsov, among which — prints of his fingers on a sticky tape. Now upon murder by Office of Public Prosecutor of Dzhankoj area criminal case under article 115-2 is raised, the consequence proceeds. Responsibility suspected of commission of crime should be found out to the appointed psihologo-psychiatric examination.
To find out details happened, the correspondent of «Peninsula» has gone on a scene. Here that he managed to learn at native of the killed.
Medina Shabadinova was born on July, 13th, 1997. Three days prior to happened she has gone to the 1st class of local school.
As mother of the girl, 46-year-old Nasibe Shabadinova has informed, that day she has come back home from work at six o’clock in the evening. As the daughter was not anywhere, has rushed to search for her, asked at schoolmates.
According to Nasibe, it is impossible to name Michael Kuznetsov absolutely strange for the Shabadinovs family. They together with the brother og Medina — 17-year-old Rustem — grazed cows. «Despite the almost two-metre growth, Misha played only with juvenile children, — she says. — in overnight he, passing by Medina, has bent down and has whispered something on an her ear.
I tried to find out at the daughter about it for a long time. The daughter has told nothing «.
According to Lenur Shabadinov — younger brother of Nasibe when sister has informed him that Medina was gone, he has asked a bicycle for neighbours and has gone to search for the niece.» Near to a mosque there is not completed from a Soviet period 4 floor building, — he tells. — searched there, but have found nothing. Near to it there is the deep pool formed as a result of break in a water well at which children quite often played. I took a stick and began to search in a pool, thus asked the Allah that my suspicions have not proved to be true. In a pool have found out nothing, however something prompted to me bad, and I have continued search. About ten evenings I took a small lamp and together with the wife have decided to examine not completed building once again. Have gone down in a cellar and have seen a body. The girl was already cold, on her there was only a T-shirt, and all her face was in terrible bruises. Hands along a body have been pulled together by an adhesive tape of which was so much that I have first thought that to Medina have turned in a cellophane package. On a neck of the girl there was a stranglehold which the bastard has strangled her. Then someone from peasants has recollected that saw, how Kuznecov bought in the afternoon by an adhesive tape in rural shop, and after he was seen together with Medina. I have brought the girl home and all have warned, that did not touch a body on which there could be fingerprints.
L.Shabadinov has noticed that the militia has arrived very quickly. «The gathered inhabitants: both the Crimean Tatars, and Russian demanded to give out them arrested person Michael for immediate court, — he speaks. — it is possible, therefore to village has arrived more than ten police cars».
Two militian dogs couldn’t pick up a trail. «Militiamen have asked: whether you suspect somebody, — has continued Lenur Shabadinov. — We, naturally, have specified in Misha whom they and took directly in bed. Next day he has given evidences. It appears, while we searched for the girl, Misha observed of a cellar of the house and waited for an opportunity to carry away and throw out a corpse in a drainage ditch. A bag which he has prepared for this purpose, have found at an input in an entrance of the two-storeyed house where Misha lives with parents and two younger brothers».
All village has gathered for funeral to Medina Shabadinova. All pupils of an elementary school where she has had time to study for three days have come. On funeral of the schoolmate children have collected 103 grivnas. Parents of Kuznetsova and have not appeared, have not apologised and have not expressed sympathy native to the dead.
According to inhabitants of village, they are afraid that the murderer recognise as deranged, will take any time in hospital and will let out. «To us it is terrible for our children», — they speak.
