«Namus» urges to create the uniform list of candidates from the Crimean Tatars
On October, 31st across all Ukraine and in Crimea will pass elections of deputies of local councils. Once again there is a question: who will represent and protect interests of the Crimean Tatars in the power. On this question the answer will be given by our voters at voting. Before all of us there is a problem: to select and delegate to the power of best of the best, fair, decent, morally clean, competent and professionally prepared representatives of the people capable and ready up to the end to defend and protect interests of Crimea and our people.
The intention to participate in elections already have declared Milli Medzhlis, Milli Firka and other representatives of the Crimean Tatars. If all of them, without having agreed, will go on elections separately and everyone will offer the list of candidates, the people will appear broken on some parts. In the conditions of toughening of the selective legislation, introduction of the mixed system, and as consequence of struggle strengthening for the right to be presented to councils of different levels, rivalry among themselves can lead to that the representation of the Crimean Tatars in authorities will be shown to a minimum.
It it is impossible to admit. It is necessary for All of us to agree and go on elections a uniform stream. It is impossible to divide the people into correct and wrong Crimean Tatars. We should be as one family, to help and hang together in any situations.
The Sanhedrim of the Crimean Tatar people «Namus» is solidary with party Milli Firka appeal in creation of an united front for participation of the Crimean Tatars in the local elections, published in the newspaper «Voice of Crimea».
From its part «Namus» calls all political forces having intention actively to participate in forthcoming elections, to sit down for a negotiating table and to agree about formation of the uniform list of candidates from the Crimean Tatars.
We have nothing to divide, except as set of unresolved problems of preservation, revival and development of the Crimean Tatar people and our Native land of Crimea.
