On August, 6th at the initiative of the Sanhedrim of the Crimean Tatar people the meeting of heads of organization Milli Firka participating in a meeting with the President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych on August, 3rd, 2010, Vasvi Abduraimov and Reshat Ablaev with trustees of the Sanhedrim has taken place.

Chairman of Kenesh Milli Firka Vasvi Abduraimov and Timur Dagdzhi participating in a meeting, have in detail told about the last meeting. At a meeting the President spoke about necessity of acceptance of the program of arrangement of the Crimean Tatar people, maintenance with habitation, the earth, about representation of the Crimean Tatars in the power, about building of the Cathedral mosque, about giving to the Bakhchsarai memorial estate of the status national, about necessity of restoration of historical toponymics and in the shortest terms of adoption of law about restoration of the rights of the Crimean Tatar people and other persons who have been subjected to repression to a national sign.

Refusal of heads of Milli Medzhlis of a meeting with the president is absolutely not clear.

Heads of Milli Medzhlis need to recognize that public organizations and parties also are a part of the Crimean Tatar people.

And the behavior of the Mufti of Crimea Emirali Ablaev is absolutely not clear. A mufti shouldn’t play games of politics. His calling — to be the spiritual instructor of all Moslems, instead of heads what or political force. Especially at a meeting the question on building of the Cathedral mosque which directly concerns life of Moslems of Crimea was brought up.

For many years of national movement representatives of our people achieved reception of the first persons of the state, and, as a rule, it was necessary to be content with receptions of minor officials. Today, when the President of Ukraine under the initiative invites representatives to the major for the Crimean Tatar people meeting, there can be no justifications to refusal of it.

Unlike the heads of Medzhlis who have not come to the meeting, we welcome adherence to principles of Ilmi Umerov and Aziz Abdullaev who despite a demarche of Presidium of Medzhlis have come and participated in a meeting
