To the Black Sea Fleet have three times raised the prices for utilities

The authorities of Sevastopol since October, first, 2009 have three times increased cost of utilities for the city enterprises and the Black Sea fleet of the Russian Federation, motivating it is a heavy financial position of a city. On it has informed on Tuesday a source in staff BSF.

«Since October, first, 2009 Russia will pay three times more for life-support of the Black Sea fleet in Sevastopol», — the source has told, having added that the decision to raise municipal tariffs was accepted by the head of administration of a city Sergey Kunitsyn.

«He motivated the decision with a heavy economic situation of a city and financial crash of municipal services», — has noted a source in a fleet staff.

Kunitsyn, according to the source, considers that a city is not in a condition to providing of heat and water without additional financing.

«Threat to a city to remain winter without heat is a threat of national safety of the country», — a source quotes the head of administration.

He also has reminded that attempts to raise tariffs for utilities in Sevastopol was undertaken by city officials repeatedly, «but resolute opposition of city council and indignation of citizens did not allow to make it».

«This time to raise tariffs Kunitsyn has accepted the decision in the form of an order as the head of a civil defence of a city», — the source has told.

As he said, the commander of fleet vice-admiral Alexander Kletskov already has set the task to the subordinated financiers to count new cost of utilities for fleet.
