On Monday in some countries have modestly and silently celebrated the International day of tolerance which is also named the World day of tolerance that same as the term speaking another language applied in the second case, is equivalent to the first concept. So, tolerance — what is it?

Accepting the principles proclaimed in the Declaration, we thereby recognise that all people, at all their variety and dissimilarity against each other, possess the right to keep the individuality that sights of one person cannot be imposed another. Very essentially that the document obliges the states to be guided in all actions by the fair and impartial legislation, to give to each person of possibility for economic and social development without any discrimination.
— For the purpose of distribution of these principles of UNESCO has proclaimed in the Declaration the International day of tolerance which is marked since then annually on November, 16th. But in the message of the Secretary general of the United Nations on the occasion of this day in 2005 it has been declared that, despite all reasonable efforts under the statement in the tolerance world, in the conditions of growth of the population of the Earth and intensive migration xenophobia and extremism growth is everywhere observed. Whether rather late the world community has thought suddenly, after all intolerance at times already gets character of fanaticism?
— How the state of affairs has been started, it is impossible to lose hopes of changes, of situation change to the best. Because only in that society in which, having refused heterodoxy suppression, start to cultivate sprouts of tolerance and to suppose different views, other belief, other traditions and ceremonies, stability affirms, mechanisms of its development are started. It is obvious that it is a problem of the greatest complexity and while, in the conditions of globalisation, political one-polarity, it is on a global scale impracticable. An another matter — potential of regions. In particular in Crimea, where today a situation not from the simple. In my opinion, it is connected by that in it by these days there were not too many politicians, capable to mobilise a multinational Crimean society on realisation of the possibilities put in the special status of region, in the remained historical traditions, on restoration of its centuries-old, passing from father to son tolerance. But that all the same such politicians at us are, gives optimism and confidence of addition of their number. There will be also the young politicians well prepared for this field, burdened with experience of predecessors. It is necessary to hope that they will find the decision of our problems, and in this case Crimea will have a future.

But I can tell with pride that in the program of our organisation among five strategic directions of its activity it is defined as the main maintenance in Crimea of the world, stability and mutual understanding of people living in it. Without achievement of this purpose achievement and all others, including revival is impossible for the Crimean Tatar nation, realisation of plans for development of other people of peninsula.
Apparently, Ukraine is today on a threshold of serious calls and, probably, serious changes which predict not only astrologists, but also recognised politicians. It is clear that only all together, tolerantly concerning ideological aspirations each other, to errors and contradictions, we can secure Crimea against waves of cataclysms, keep it and provide to it the best future.
But thus, certainly, it is not necessary to forget that our Crimea — a making part of the big space including not only Ukraine, but also the CIS as a whole, and also the Muslim and orthodox worlds. And, if we love our Crimea, should care and of this big space, equipping a life of people living on it.
