In the Supreme Rada of Ukraine have suggested to note at the state level the 90 anniversary from the date of a birth of the test pilot Amet-khan Sultan and the 120 anniversary from the date of a birth of artist-batalist Nikolay Samokish.

The decision project about celebrating at the state level in 2010 anniversaries was submitted for consideration parliament by the People’s Deputy from «Yulia Timoshenko Block» Vladimir Javorivsky. Anniversaries of A.Sultan and N.Samokish are brought in the corresponding list of dates.

The INQUIRY:Amet-khan Sultan (1920-1971) — twice the Hero of Soviet Union, the lieutenant colonel, the deserved test pilot of the USSR. The participant of the Second World War, the fighter pilot, has made 603 fighting starts, has brought down personally 30 and as a part of group of 19 planes of the opponent. After war worked as the test pilot. Was lost in test flight.

N.Samokish (1860-1944) — the Russian and Soviet artist-batalist working also in the field of an animalistic genre and the book drawing. In 1920-1930th years worked in Crimea. Has created in Simferopol art studio which became the basic regional centre of an art education. Has died in Simferopol in German occupation.
