Less than in a year we will come nearer to century from the date of a birth of Seit-Bekir ОSMANOV (1911-1985) and to Jury Bekirovich ОSMANOV seventieth anniversary (1941 — 1993).
They, the father and the son, have come to this frail world in a springtime when the nature-mother clears up again for flowering and growth.
The father personified the first generation of national movement — its initiators-initiators, was one of its most highly experienced organizers.
The son has embodied and has expressed the best moral lines of the second generation of Movement in the character and a vital feat, remained for ever its most outstanding representative on quality and volume of the executed intellectual and organising work, a world outlook heritage.
Both of them have been selflessly betrayed to idea and business of national movement of the Crimean Tatars that was expressed first of all in constant search (together with colleagues) ways for achievement of the purposes formulated in the Order of the Crimean Tatar people to the representatives.
Bekir aga Osmanov was in peace work by the talented agriculturist-selector, and in a wartime — one of the most fearless and skilful the guerrilla, the imperceptible scout and the saboteur in back at invaders. After eviction of the people it together with the same front-line soldiers, participants of war (M.Selimov, J. Аkimov, O.Ebasanov, A.Ibraimov, V.Murtazaev, A.Emirov, O.Halilov, I.Seferov, S.Veliev, S.Asanov, E.Ablaev and many others…) as a result of long-term work in the people has managed to create unique system of the initiative groups which have captured in the politikal and propaganda work the most part of the people, disseminated in reference places.
Bekir aga together with spouse — Maria Vladimirovna — has grown up and has brought up the great soldier-fighter proof on character and the thinker expecting many social processes and the phenomena in a life of the big country and the native people. Parents have passed and have imparted to the son the high concept of a debt, selflessness, modesty and the integral selfless work of heart and reason.
The narration about their participation and the contribution to national movement of the Crimean Tatars should be harmonously stated and saved in the whole series of books and films which should be written, made, printed and created. The beginning is already necessary. But that is, obviously insufficiently. All to whom road memory of the father and son Osmanovs and who can bring the concrete contribution to creation of books and films, an establishment of memorable signs and memorial boards, should operate not separately as was till now, and together — as a part of uniform Organizing committee. We, members of political council Milli Firka, take the lead on creation of such organising committee and we call all who knew Seit-Bekir and Jury ОSMANOVS who were together with them in the ranks of national movement, to join participation in development and Program realisation on perpetuating of their memory, a creative and intellectual heritage.
