Milli Medzhlis — the organisation which is giving out for ethnic parliament of all Crimean Tatars, has decided to remind of itself in connection with attack by the Navies of Israel of «freedom Flotilla».
The tragedy played round a humanitarian escort «freedom Flotilla» owing to unmotivated and unjustified application of Naval Forces of Israel the fighting weapon, is told in the statement of Medzhlis, has called wide indignation and sharp condemnation from outside the international public, including the United Nations, other international organisations and the governments of many countries.
Меdzhlis has urged the international community to «involve» in the criminal liability of the persons guilty of murder of active workers of a peace movement, and also to stop blockade of Gaza Strip from outside Israel, having restored social and political stability in region. All the same mere verbiage which you will meet in any appeal of almost any organisation considering international.
But here that is interesting. Protest meeting about it on a central square in Simferopol spent close to Medzhlis public associations of the Crimean Tatars, instead of Medzhlis itself. Why?! Yes because for it has gathered no more than two tens persons that eloquently testifies to level of real support of Medzhlis among the Crimean Tatars.
In Day of deportation on May, 18th on memorial service on a central square of Simferopol gathers, as a rule, to two tens thousand Crimean Tatars. The management of Medzhlis acts on him basically. Therefore the impression is made that this organisation is supported by the overwhelming majority of compatriots.
Actually memorial service organises not Medzhlis, and the Crimean government, allocating means for delivery of its participants to Simferopol from different points of peninsula. That can really organise «representation body of the Crimean Tatars» as names itself Medzhlis, the smallest action against actions of Israel has shown.
