Head of Medzhlis Mustafa Dzhemilev has sent the letter to the president of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych with the request to appoint date of carrying out of session of council of representatives of the Crimean Tatar people at the president of Ukraine. On it have informed in the Medzhlis press-service.

In the letter Mustafa Dzhemilev has expressed hope that «that the power is adjusted on the fair permission of urgent problems in sphere of restoration of the rights of the Crimean Tatar people».

At the same time, noticed in the press-service, head of Medzhlis has explained the reasons which have led to failure before planned session of Council of representatives of the Crimean Tatar people with participation of the president of Ukraine, and also has stated also an estimation to actions of separate officials, «allowed at own discretion to reformat earlier planned session of Council of representatives оf the Crimean Tatar people at the President of Ukraine on» a meeting with separate representatives of the Crimean Tatars «».

«Occurrence of certain misunderstanding in mutual relations between the president of Ukraine and Council of representatives of the Crimean Tatar people» became result of such actions that has been realized not only without our consent, but as we understand, and without your permission, — is told further in the letter.

At this Mustafa Dzhemilev has expressed confidence that «any intrigues of separate officials or the short-sighted politicians, directed on entering of artificial split in Crimean Tatar community, and also for the purpose of creation of misunderstanding between the president of Ukraine and Council of representatives of the Crimean Tatar people, won’t have any chance as restoration of the rights of the Crimean Tatar people demands the maximum association of the efforts which are carried out by the power and elective body of the Crimean Tatars — Medzhlis».

He also has expressed a regret that the session of Council of representatives planned for August, 3rd of the Crimean Tatar people hasn’t taken place in that format as it has been defined at a meeting on May, 13th, and has addressed to the head of the state with the request to appoint date of carrying out of session of Council with participation of the President of Ukraine.

Let’s remind, on August, 3rd Medzhlis has made decision not to take part in the planned meeting of representatives of the Crimean Tatars with the president of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych. Representatives of Medzhlis motivated it with that on the eve of a meeting «the actions, running counter earlier accepted by president of Ukraine to the decision on carrying out of session of Council of representatives of the Crimean Tatar people» have been undertaken.

According to Medzhlis, instead of session of Council of representatives of the Crimean Tatar people with participation of the president of Ukraine the meeting with representatives of the Crimean Tatar population »on which, except heads of Medzhlis and the participants delegated by its presidium, have appeared has been offered« representatives are invited by two-three known scandalousness of political educations behind which there are the persons ready for the sake of the ambitions to any destructive actions ».

At the same time the president of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych has subjected to the rigid criticism of Medzhlis which representatives have refused to take part in the planned meeting of representatives of the Crimean Tatar people with the president of Ukraine on August, 3rd.
