The Crimean Tatars on local elections which will pass on October, 31st, will choose at once between three national-focused political forces. The correspondent of «Rosbalt» informs on it.

Traditionally Crimean Tatars urged to vote for association «Kurultaj-Ruh». Within the limits of this association under lists «National ruh» in the Crimean parliament there passed representatives of Medzhlis — the informal government of the Crimean Tatars. Last twenty years Medzhlis applies for being considered as the spokesman of interests of all Crimean Tatar communities.

Nevertheless, movement of Milli Firka will be the second national movement which plans to make a competition to Medzhlis on elections. As the obligatory party locomotive for it the democratic party will serve Ukrainian village…

Besides, on the same elections one more party — «the Third force», most likely, will be presented. In Crimea this preserved will be stake the political project on the Crimean Tatars — with the help «Coordination council of political forces of the Crimean Tatar people».

According to experts, present activity in Crimean Tatar electoral field speaks recent opposition between the authorities of Ukraine and Medzhlis concerning a nominee of head Bakhchsarai RSA. Then under the pressure of Medzhlis the president of Ukraine has been compelled to change the initial decision and to leave on this post a member of Medzhlis Ilmi Umerov. Later members of Medzhlis weren’t on meeting to the president because the leaders of movements oppositional to Medzhlis also have been invited to a meeting.

According to sources of «Rosbalt», projects of Milli Firka and «the Third force» can indirectly be financed from the circles close to Party of Regions to weaken Medzhlis influence on a Crimean Tatar community. At the same time experts converge in opinion that to shake Medzhlis positions, serious efforts are required.
