At the next session of Milli Medzhlis questions on preparation of the International forum concerning restoration of the rights of the Crimean Tatar people in the homeland and maintenance of its safety and development guarantees in the Ukrainian state, about representative Medzhlis in the Lithuanian Republic, about reduction of representation of the Crimean Tatars in authorities, about forthcoming elections in local self-government institutions have been considered.

Let’s remind, earlier it was informed that the head of Medzhlis Mustafa Dzhemilev has submitted for consideration the Supreme Rada of Ukraine the bill «About restoration of the rights of the persons deported to a national sign» in which speech does not go about the rights of the Crimean Tatar people as people criminally subjected to repression by a totalitarian mode and made over it a genocide. And, by a recognition of separate members od Medzhlis this bill was not discussed even in a narrow circle of a management of Medzhlis, not to mention its wide national discussion and acceptance on Kurultaj. However this scandalous thing of voluntarism from outside the head of Medzhlis has not called any reaction of Medzhlis, Kurultaj. Therefore will be logical and fair henceforth to name these public organisations Kurultaj and Medzhlis the persons deported to a national sign, without connecting them with all the Crimean Tatar people.

At session of Medzhlis the questions connected with carrying out of the International forum concerning restoration of the rights of the Crimean Tatar people on the Native land, maintenance of its safety and development guarantees in Ukraine were discussed,

— About the plenipotentiary of Medzhlis in Lithuanian Republic,

— About representation of the Crimean Tatars in authorities ARC,

— About forthcoming elections of deputies of Supreme Rada ARC, local councils and rural, mayors,

— About the third session of Kurultaj of V convocation,

— About date of carrying out of regional conferences Sejtlersky (Nizhnegorsky) and Ichkinsky (Soviet) areas.

On each of the questions taken out for consideration detailed discussion has taken place and corresponding decisions are made.

So, having discussed a question on carrying out of the International forum, members of Medzhlis have generated working group to which it is entrusted, taking into account results of the taken place preliminary consultations of representatives of the various international organisations, the diplomatic missions accredited in Ukraine, and also with deputies of Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and deputies of EuroParliament, within a month to present in Medzhlis the concept, an order of carrying out and the summons of the International forum.

Also members of Medzhlis have agreed with the offer that the concept and an order of carrying out of the International forum should be placed for consideration regular session of Kurultaj.

Of representation of the Crimean Tatars in public authorities, and also with an estimation of current events in personnel questions and a political life of Ukraine and Crimea has acted the head of Medzhlis Mustafa Dzhemilev. Making comments on the statement of the prime minister of Ukraine Nikolay Azarov that he supposedly does not not accept ultimatums in personnel questions, Mustafa Dzhemilev has noticed that in reaction of Medzhlis on dismissals of state employees from among the Crimean Tatars, including two heads of the district state administrations (K.Osmanov and I.Umerov) there are no ultimatums, and there is quite well-founded criticism in reply to sharp reduction of representation of the Crimean Tatars in government sphere.

Members of Medzhlis, having exchanged opinions on this point in question, have acted with a number of the offers which realisation should pay attention of the Ukrainian and international public to discrimination of the Crimean Tatars regarding their representation in authorities. Thus, the final decision under the developed offers will be accepted by delegates of forthcoming session of Kurultaj.

The questions connected with forthcoming elections of deputies of the Supreme Rada of Crimea, local councils and rural mayors have undergone to detailed discussion. Members of Medzhlis have established that at all stages of definition of applicants in candidates, and then and statements of candidates for election as deputies of the Supreme Rada of Crimea, local councils and rural mayors, bodies of national self-management — local, regional Medzhlises and central Medzhlis, — will spend in interaction with Crimean Tatar public organisations.

At session of Medzhlis date of carrying out of the third session of Kurultaj of V convocation also has been confirmed: on August, 28-29th, 2010. Thereupon to presidium of Medzhlis it is entrusted to confirm and publish in Kurultaj established by regulations terms the project of the summons of forthcoming session of Kurultaj and to carry out necessary organizational actions.

During session of Medzhlis the chairman of the Union of communities of the Lithuanian Tatars of Adas Jakubauskas is confirmed by the plenipotentiary of MEdzhlis in the Lithuanian Republic.

Having heard the information of the secretary of the Commission on preparation and the organisation of elections local Medzhlises Zaire Smedleva of results the taken place elections in local Medzhlises Ichkinsky (Soviet) and Sejtlersky (Nizhnegorsky) regions, according to article 5.3″of Position about local bodies of national self-management» Medezhlis has decided: to appoint carrying out of regional conferences of Ichkinsky region on August, 7th, 2010 and Sejtlersky region on August, 8th, 2010.
