Medzhlis has no right to speak on behalf of all Crimean Tatars, the Crimean Tatar oppositionist, the former functionary of a Medzhlis Nadir Bekirov considers.

He has reminded that several years ago Medzhlis has confirmed decrease in norm of participation of the Crimean Tatars in elections of Kurultaj at which it is considered legitimate, — from 50 % + 1 to all 1/3 of Crimean Tatars of selective age living in Ukraine.

Then at Medzhlis session on August, 17th, 2007 the chairman of the Central Electoral Committee of Kurultaj Ahtem Chijgoz has officially reported that this norm is executed — 62 000 Crimean Tatars-voters have taken part in elections flowing of Kurultaj.

But, under the different data, marks Nadir Bekirov, in 2007 in Crimea was from 160 to 180000 Crimean Tatars of selective age. Thus, the Medzhlis has undersigned that next Kurultaj organized by it supports notorious minority of the Crimean Tatars far from a half.

From this point on, the oppositionist, any claims of a Medzhlis, Kurultaj for a rank of representatives of the Crimean Tatar people — «the cynical lie calculated on lack of information of Crimean Tatars, the state, the public, diaspora, the international organizations, experts» underlines.
