The deputy of EuroParliament Leonidas Donskis (group of Liberal parties, Lithuania) considers possible acceptance of the resolution on the Crimean Tatars.
«Such resolution would have sense as news that the EuroParliament considers the Crimean Tatars as very important East Europe culture, the people proud of the people which has undertaken really European and very peaceful ways of struggle for returning to the historical native land», — the deputy has told, UNIAN informs.
«I consider, that it should be simply positive resolution, which sense, — to pay attention of the large countries and large members of EU to such small people and cultures», — has added Donskis.
He has noticed that hardly it makes sense to accept the resolution in which the genocide and deportation estimation of the Crimean Tatar people as this crime concerns a number of other numerous crimes of the Stalin mode already condemned by EuroParliament would contain exclusively.
«If it is simply mechanical repetition of that was so there is no sense simply in it. Nevertheless understand that, for example, Golodomor is a crime against humanity, also as well as any other form of a genocide. But it is not necessary to declare each time it, probably, because inflation of resolutions of EuroParliament» will begin — considers Donskis.
He also has underlined that in the EuroParliament resolution could be noted, as unique, exclusively peace approach of the Crimean Tatar people to upholding of the rights.
«I consider, than this sample — exclusively peacefully which was undertaken by the Crimean Tatars is unique… We see that the world has again wallowed in blood and hatred. We counted on that after falling of the Berlin wall will appear more freedom, harmonies, happiness, but, unfortunately, we see that such scenario» is not very realistic, — the deputy has underlined.
