The Next Competition of the Award of a Name of Bekir Choban-zade is Declared

The fourth competition under the account on competition of the award of Bekir Choban-zade starts in Crimea. The chairman of Fund named after Bekir Choban-zade, Resul Veliljaev has informed on it on October, 13th at press conference in Simferopol.

As has informed Resul Veliljaev, according to position on competition, there were changes in jury structure. Abljaziz Veliev is confirmed as the chairman of jury.

Into commission structure for 2009 also have entered: Gulnara Jagjaeva (the secretary of the commission), Resul Veliljaev, Ismail Kerimov, Ibraim Chegertma, Nariman Abdulvaapov, Sherjan Ali.

According to Abljaziz Veliev, changes also have been made to position about the award.

Veliev has noticed that on competition of the award of a name of Bekir Choban-zade the original products published, exposed from 01.01.2009 to 31.12.2009 move, term of giving of works expires on March, 1st, 2010

The award of a name of Bekir Choban-zade is awarded in seven points:

— For the best book (or a cycle) of poetic products on Crimean Tatar language;

— For the best prosaic (including publicistic) product on Crimean Tatar language;

— For the best scientific and scientifically-methodical work on Crimean Tatar philology and folklore (the monography, the textbook, the dictionary, the directory, a bibliographic index, the scientific edition of collected works of classics of Crimean Tatar literatures, literary-critical products);

— For the best translating of Crimean Tatar authors on other languages, and also other authors on Crimean Tatar language;

— For popularisation of creativity of B.Choban-zade in the field of the literature, sciences and arts;

— For the best products, publications, the researches reflecting last, present and future of Karasubazar;

— For the best research in the field of art, stories, ethnography and toponymy of Crimea.

It also has been noticed that the award is awarded to persons, groups or the organisations, creative collectives irrespective of a place of their residing, a national identity, creed.

So, in 2009 winners of the award became Ajshe Azade Rorlih from America for translating of products of Ismail Gasprinsky «the French letters» on English language and Mahmud Allahmanly for the monography «Creativity of Ashik Umer».

The award can posthumously be awarded, if the died candidate was put forward during lifetime.

The inquiry. The award of a name of Bekir Choban-zade has been founded in 2006 by the known businessman from Karasubazar (nowadays Belogorsk) Resul Veliljaev on behalf of board of fund of Bekir choban-zade.

In 2007 the first delivery of the award has taken place. The first winners became: poet Shakir Selim and the philologist, professor Ismail Kerimov.

In 2008 the decision of the commission the Award was awarded to Sherjan Aliev, Abljaziz Veliev, Sejran Useinov, Olga Golubeva, Ramiz Netovkin, Nariman Abdulvaapov.

In 2009 the award has been handed over to Mahmud Allahmanly Ajshe Azade Rorlih, Ulker Musaeva, Gulnara Bekirova, Merzie Halitova, Fevzi Aliev.

The award of name of name of Bekir Choban-zade is dated for birthday of Bekir Choban-zade and it is handed over publicly in solemn conditions in Karasubazar.
