The director of the Norwegian institute of probes of problems of world PRIO Christian Berg Harpviken considers that the main favourites on reception of the Nobel Prize of the world of 2011 are women, informs RIA news agency.

According to published on Monday rating of the applicants, the first place in it is occupied with organization «Memorial» and Russian Svetlana Ganushkina. Further follow the active worker of Liberian women’s movement for the world Leymah Gbowee and the active worker from Kenya Ory Okolloh.

In total in the list of the Norwegian expert it is mentioned about two tens names and the organizations, among which, Wikileaks and Dzhulian Assanzh, the American analyst who has given Wikileaks the information available for him, Bradley Manning, the Afghani doctorand right defender Sima Samar and others.

As has informed on Tuesday the Norwegian Nobel committee, in the list of applicants for the Nobel Prize of the world of 2011 — 241 candidate, 53 from are the public and international organizations. Last year 237 candidates applied for award competition.

Ceremony of delivery of an award traditionally passes in Oslo on December, 10th, in day of death of Alfred Nobel — the founder of five Nobel Prizes four of which are handed over in Stockholm.

The world Nobel Prize in 2010 has been awarded to the Chinese legal expert Lju Sjaobo.
