The program «Purchases for roubles» started in Turkey. Now in many shopping centres of Istanbul it is possible to pay off not with lyres and not dollars, but the Russian currency, writes news agency REGNUM.
As it is informed, boutiques and shops participate in program in areas of Istanbul which are well familiar to fans of Turkish shopping — Osmanbej, Laleli and Merter.
It is necessary to notice that the chairman of the Istanbul association of exporters of clothes (ITKIB) Hikmet Tanriverdi became the author of idea «Purchases for roubles».
As reports Haberrus, he considers, what is it will facilitate a problem of the Russian tourists arriving to Turkey.
Now only Istanbul participates in the program, however initiators hope that shortly it will be in other regions of the country. Probably, by the summer resorts will enter into a so-called rouble zone.
