The Muslim democratic society of the Crimean Tatars of Romania will receive from the state of 955 thousand dollars under the program of support of nationalities of the country.

In total on support of national minorities of Romania the government of this country as well as in 2009, has allocated about 23 million dollars. According to means rules are distributed among the national minorities presented in parliament of the country, where

For representatives of national minorities the quota at least under one mandate is allocated. Also for the societies created by national minorities, from the state budget every year are allocated from 300 thousand to 5 million dollars.

During the current year most of all means (5 million dollars) will be directed to Fund «Communitas» which has been created by the Hungarian diaspora. 3,3 million US dollars receives a society of rums «Pro Europa». To a Muslim democratic society of the Crimean Tatars of Romania and the Turkish democratic society of Romania it will be allocated by 955 thousand and 860 thousand dollars USA accordingly.

This year the Muslim democratic society of the Crimean Tatars of Romania marks the 20 anniversary. In Medzhidie — a twin-city of Old Crimea — where lives more than 6 thousand Crimean Tatars, in January of current year celebratory action has taken place. Besides, in Kostendzh (Constance) will take place on February, 27th the solemn action, dated to the Society 20 anniversary. In the program the folklore, national songs and dances of the Crimean Tatars will be presented. Also, will materials about 20-year-old work of the Society are presented. The female organisation, in turn, will carry out cultural-educational action on a theme: «Traditional Crimean Tatar wedding».
