President Victor Yushchenko promises to do the utmost for self-realisation of all national minorities. About it it is told in the message of the press-service of the president.

On Tuesday together with the main rabbi of the South Ukrainian regional association of Judaic communities Avraam Volf Prezident has lighted khanyka fires in one of the Odessa synagogues.

Yushchenko has congratulated the Jewish community on a holiday a Khanuka and has underlined that preservation in Ukraine of possibilities for self-realisation of all national minorities is extremely important for him.

«I will make all that each nation in Ukraine had that it cannot have even on the native earth as it is a compliment to Ukraine, our freedom and democracy. It is very important, that the Ukrainian state, its development was created by millions of hands», — the president has told.

He has wished the Jewish community that in holidays sacred Khanuka fires have lighted up their dwellings and have filled hearts with pleasure and heat.
