Participants of conference of elders of organisation «Namus» recognised crisis of national movement of the Crimean Tatars and growing dissociation in their environment, informs «New region» referring to a weekly journal «Voice of Crimea». One of the reasons — the erroneous rate of the Tatar top on Ruh and antagonism forcing between Tatars and Russian.

«Numerous splits in Mezhlis, leaving of influential persons and creation of opposition by them have complicated a situation to Medzhlis… Has not given desirable successes and the World congress of the Crimean Tatars. The most negative phenomenon was that fact that the initiative of separate persons and various strata of society in movement development is lost. The introduced election system in local Medzhlises, the establishment of quotas, structurization, subordination to Medzhlis, have transformed movement into political party in struggle for places in the authorities», — are assured Crimean Tatar elders.

In their opinion, that Medzhlis, «becoming a springboard on introduction in power structures is especially dangerous, has turned to range of the decision of the personal purposes and interests and is frequent to the detriment of national».

The rate of Medzhlis on the Ukrainian nationalists-ruhovtsev has come to the end, mark elders, a total failure. There was a recoil back in the decision of agrarian questions, returnings from places of dispatch of the Crimean Tatars.

Elders recognised that attempts to consolidate compatriots have not given positive result, have noted «danger of performances» national politicians, «aspiring to create antagonism» between the Crimean Tatars and Russian.
