Among those who has visited recently Iran, — the known Russian writer and publicist Alexander PROKHANOV, the editor-in-chief of the newspaper «Tomorrow». He has visited Iran in December, 2010.
— Alexander Andreevich what has induced you to make this trip and whether there were you before in Iran?
— Iran is my youngest love which has arisen more recently, and I realized it a sudden and rough short-term trip to this amazing country. I went for one week together with Radzhab Safarov and Dmitry Borisovich Rjurikov. It was our group which has made this voyage of good will. We were visitors of Iran under the recommendation of the ambassador of Iran in Moscow.
It is impossible to tell that I have learned Iran — the trip was too short. I have visited only Teheran and in a sacred city of Kum. I met seminary students, politicians, political scientists, with the attention I was presented with scientists, the people connected with high technologies.
I had some very sharp personal experiences which I didn’t tried before anywhere, including in my favourite Russia. One of these experiences is connected with mosque visiting in Kum — there is a mosque which simultaneously is the mausoleum. And I, after conversation with seminary students on very high metaphysical and historical themes, have appeared in a mirror hall of a mosque. All this huge hall with sparkling chandeliers has been covered by mirrors — huge mirrors, the average sizes, small, tiny absolutely mirrors which developed in fantastic and very difficult ornaments. And in all these mirrors I was reflected! And here this sparkling cone of light leaving in infinity generated sensation that I have entered… In a brilliant. And I was surrounded with the rainbows, any flashes of radiant energy and, mainly, my reflections which there was an infinite set and which these mirrors carried in the neighboring Universe. I had such sensation that I sow the Universe that I became the person-Universe that has lost «I» belonging to the Earth and as mushroom disputes I am sprayed on all Universe. And here this sharpest strange irrational feeling of an accessory to the Universe, responsibility for it, communications with it — was unique! It was any instant of mystical experience which some seconds lasted, maybe, and then left. I repeat, it was the first and very intensive experience which I didn’t test anywhere before.
The second experience, not less strong: my stay in Iran has coincided with event when the Iranian people mourn for martyr death of imam Hussein. People leave uncountable crowds on streets, move around the city, strike themselves with blows of ropes, palms, and chains. This people bear the mysterious stands made of ostrich’s feathers, a plume. Athletes bear these huge stands on belts. And behind them there are people — old men, 3-4-year old children, people of all estates. They groan, say every possible spells, and torture themselves.Perhaps, truth, torture more likely symbolically, not really. And here I have appeared in this crowd, went in it and with each step was filled with these rhythms, it grasped me, I felt a part of these people — I too took chains and have put myself some blows on shoulders and on a back.
And I have understood a surprising thing: certainly, these events are devoted event old — destructions of the sacred person, the imam who has left, disappeared; such drawings to themselves of blows people expressed the empathy to this person, this imam, but simultaneously it was action where the people of Iran showed the compassion to all suffering which is made today in the world. Because in the today’s world it is so much troubles, it is so much grief, so much people suffer in torture chambers, perish from illnesses or for the hunger so much, it is so much unfairly offended, trampled, it is so much tears, it is so much affliction! And here the whole people Iranian go and express the compassion to everything that now torment people on the earth. And this vibration which filled the night sky, stars, neighboring mountains, has caused in me huge, enormous enthusiasm. I felt a part of these people.
Was it in Teheran or in Kum?
Is was in Teheran. But it was no more than impression of personal mystical experience. In Iran I was amazed, actually, with another. In Iran I have met that «the theocratic state» is called. The religious state. The state, whose ideology, religious philosophy says that the reality in which we live, isn’t limited here to this here terrestrial life, a terrestrial reality. It isn’t limited to factories, roads, motorways, garrisons, nuclear programs, human weddings, death, banks, money, everyday all. It is only small part of other, huge, infinite, heavenly Reality for which the person should prepare and in which after death — in this dazzling, fertile, Divine reality — will pass. And between the first, terrestrial reality, and the second which is even more reality, than the first, exists the tiny isthmus called by death. At universities Islamic — in conversations all of us time discussed this problem, a death problem with seminary students. And I have understood that in Iran there is a special theory of death. And I have understood suddenly that all history of the mankind, all human culture is conversation on death and creation of this theory of death, more truly, immortality.
And here this sensation of that all people have made Immortality Revolution that Islamic revolution of Iran is a revolution of the people trusting in immortality, putting in head of a universe here this dazzling Divine crystal — here this sensation has amazed me! And I have understood that here this sensation of life Eternal and values which are much more dazzling and is finer, that dominate in our world, in much the stray, perishing, here this sensation simply shaking, it does the New person! And here this trusting person sacrificing the terrestrial life in order that there, in that life to continue creativity, creation, creation, creation — here this new person in Iran has most of all amazed me.
-Sorry, that I have interrupted, but at us after all radio listeners different. One think about heavenly, and many — about terrestrial. If to go down from heavens on household level what you could tell about the Iranian food?
— I don’t want to speak about the Iranian food. I do not want to speak about a grub! About squirrels, carbohydrates and fats. I don’t want to speak about the person chewing, digesting food. I want to speak about the person the believer. I want to speak about the person for whom food is here this sensation of tremendous beauty of the Divine world and about the person who owing to the belief becomes the hero, the creator, sacrifices life on fronts.
Being the Soviet person, having lived «the Soviet» life, I knew that in life of the Soviet country there was a period when all Soviet people were the people-shahid which died for Red Belief who rushed under tanks, maintained terrible tortures in Gestapo. And Kosmodemjansky, and Sailors, both Gastello, and Talalihin are there were shahids of Red Belief. And the Iranian civilization today’s which in the center of the problem has put I do not peep — not cutlets, not sauce, — and has put idea of justice, it is very similar to the Soviet civilization which too has tried to create the justice world. Has tried. But at it it has not turned out anything. 70 years of this grandiose attempt have come to an end failure.
When I was in Iran, I dreamed of that their model, their impulse, their form of savings of this justice have brought success. And similarity of the Iranian theory of justice, the immortality theory, and the Soviet theory of justice and immortality, have amazed me. I think that in the future at Iran and at Russia when Russia will overcome the painful period today’s, it is a lot of general.
— And who accepted you in Iran at the highest level?
— We were accepted at the highest level by the Allah. The Lord merciful…
