As it is known, after the first round Medzhlis has made the special decision on support on repeated voting of a nominee of Yulia Timoshenko. The chief of a foreign policy department of Medzhlis has explained to Ali Hamzin the reasons of such decision:

— We will support Yulia Timoshenko not so much in hope of the decision of our ethnic question, but because are disturbed by state development in the future. Yulia Timoshenko has an accurate item on eurointegration and on country democratisation.
