On the eve of elections the Crimean Tatars, as well as many other fellow citizens, ask a question: for whom to vote? The disappointment and frank discontent with the power has covered huge weights of the people. These moods, first of all, are advanced by long-term ignoring of the rights and the uttermost stagnation in the decision of the vital problems and the Crimean Tatar people, and many-many other inhabitants of peninsula at all Ukrainian presidents.

Nevertheless, on January, 17th, in an election day, each should be advanced: to vote or not to vote, and if to vote, for whom. The matter is that the authorities recollect us only on the eve of elections and are not bought up on promises about which then forget. These ineffective promises are picked up by politicians of a smaller rank and bear them in the people, in hope to arrange own destiny, to save the privileges. Dissemble and deceive all and only for the sake of the power and own blessing.

What do leaders of a pre-election marathon this time promise?

The leader of the party of regions Victor Yanukovych promises to create in case of the victory «special state co-ordinating body which would incur all questions of preparation and realisation of the corresponding legislation …». It still «needs to advance all spectrum of problems which were accumulated lately, and to advance an order of their decision…».

In turn, other candidate from BYT, the prime minister of Ukraine Yulia Timoshenko would like to see chairman of Medzhlis, the People’s Deputy of Ukraine Mustafa Dzhemilev and all Crimean Tatars a part of the command «for the sake of joint building of our state for the blessing of the Ukrainian people». Thus she recognises necessity of an adoption of law of Ukraine about restoration of the laws of persons deported to a national sign, and even promises «to think over returning of historical toponymics of Crimea changed by the Soviet mode after violent deportation of the Crimean Tatars».

Let’s ask them why they, being decades in power did not decide these problems, and have recollected only on the eve of elections? Why they have not made any step that in Crimea there was a world and calmness that each person felt free and equal in rights that representatives of all people were not afraid of artificial assimilation and without obstacles developed the language, culture, saved originality.

In other words, leading candidates do not have any reality and any warranties of that the Crimean Tatar question will be decided according to expectations of our compatriots.

The same concerns and alllcrimeans problems.

And it is not necessary to speak about other candidates.

Whether it is time to understand simple true?! Destiny of each compatriot and all people in its own hands. We — the people, instead of faceless electorate. And only we should be creators of our national history.

Therefore Milli Firka urges the compatriots not to distract on senseless search of smaller harm from bigger and not to support any of candidates in presidents of Ukraine. We hope that our political protest will be supported by all inhabitants of peninsula. Let know all: the patience of the people is not boundless and eternally to deceive him it is impossible.
