The Crimean Tatars, in case of serious preparation for forthcoming elections in Supreme Rada ARC, will have adequate representation in all authorities in Crimea. In these purposes it is necessary to be consolidated, reject unnecessary ambitions and to develop correct strategy.

Making comments on the new law on elections, Remzi Iljasov has noticed that the new law unequivocally testifies about aspiration of Party of Regions to monopolise, usurp all power in the country. «Under it the given law also is passed. Clearly that the corresponding command» has been given, — R.Iljasov has declared.
«Clearly that the new law on the elections, providing 50 % — on majority system, 50 — on proportional, for the Crimean Tatars does not approach. In our situation it is unacceptable first of all because election districts will increase twice, and to find district in which enough of the Crimean Tatars (I do not tell about 50 percent plus one), — voters that there there has passed the Crimean Tatar, very difficult. We expect extremely heavy struggle, and what situation will be with representatives of the Crimean Tatars both in parliament ARC, and in local self-government institutions, there is no saying. If we, the Crimean Tatars, pass through ourselves a situation, we will clean the ambitions, and we will go on elections prepared we will have, at least, adequate representation in all authorities in Crimea. Clearly one: We need to be consolidated very seriously and not simply to wish, and to realise it in practice, completely to give all the best and as speak in such cases, «to take these elections», — Remzi Iljasov has stated the wish.

But, according to the new law, the right to put forward self-promoted workers allocates only the local organisations of political parties. A question: whether there can be a Crimean Tatar in this or that party? The constitution provides suffrages, but in it there is no speech about how these elections to spend, and is said only that each citizen has the right to participate in elections — to select or be the selected. About subtleties of the new law on elections while I will not speak, clearly one: this law is created particularly under certain political force. In conversation with various political forces I have stated a wish about signing of the joint document which would provide responsibility for elections and acceptance of all measures for maintenance of transparent, democratic elections as there is a concern that there can be processes which will not reflect will of citizens », — the Crimean deputy has told.

One of — them is an ethical code of the deputy — the Crimean Tatar, the official working in the power. It would not be desirable, that this offer connected only with me as I recently often lift this point in question, but after the termination of elections I suggest all Crimean Tatars to create at conference structure, something like association which will make demands which are put before the power by the Crimean Tatars. I think, what is it there will be a serious support. If today in all level of the representative power of Crimea is more than 900 deputies from among the Crimean Tatars I think, the same quantity will be and after October, 31st. In my opinion, this is the force which is necessary for today, its creation has ripened, as we see, how certain forces on a party vertical press through those or other questions, this or that situation in the country. It is necessary for us not only regarding protection, but also for advancement and the decision of problems of the Crimean Tatar people », -Remzi Iljasov has summed up.
