The scandal which has burst round possible building by the son of chairman of Medzhlis of a coffee house in territory of the Khan palace in Bakhchisarai, became one of the loudest and discussed events of this summer on peninsula. It has again put in the forefront the problems connected with preservation of a cultural and historical heritage of the Crimean Tatars.
Scandal promotion
All has begun on July, 22nd when the deputy of Supreme body АRC Galina Grzhibovskaja has contacted the Russian news agency New region and has informed its journalists that in the Persian court yard of the Khan palace the son of chairman of Medzhlis Mustafy Dzhemileva — Hajser conducts illegal building of a coffee house. According to the deputy, she has called the director of the Bakhchsarai historical and cultural reserve Evgenie Petrov. That first denied the fact of building of a coffee house, but having learnt that Grzhibovsky is on a site has been compelled to recognise it. This message has made effect of the broken off bomb as it is widely known that Hansaraj applies for inclusion in the list of objects of a world heritage of UNESCO where, by the way, Crimea for the present is not presented in any way, and any building of new constructions in palace territory can prevent it. The message on coffee house building on the sites various news agencies at once began to publish in the Internet. And «the Crimean truth», in turn, even has devoted to this theme article under rather characteristic heading: «the Self-building on bones of ancestors».
In the meantime Mustafa Dzhemilev has given the first comments concerning scandal. So, QНА he has declared that «the Initiative of building of a coffee house has arrived from the director of a museum, he should know, how much it is lawful, as he watches this territory».
«VC», in turn, has addressed for the comment to the first deputy of the chairman of Republican committee on protection of a cultural heritage to Vyacheslav Zarubin. That has explained that as the Khan palace is a monument of national value neither cafe, nor hotels in its territory should not be opened. «In the present state of affairs I lower even cafe. Perhaps there something fine wished to arrange well or a fountain to open. In any case archeological excavations at first should be spent. Because there is what to search. All the same, the Persian garden so-called is a monument of national value. I, to tell the truth, would not built anything, because it is historical territory of a complex of the Khan palace. But there are no decisions, coordination, archaeological researches there were not spent», — has declared Zarubin.
For good reason public men undertake
Naturally, the history with prospective building of a coffee house could not leave indifferent the Crimean Tatar public. On July, 26th the group of representatives of five Crimean Tatar public organisations accompanied by correspondents of «the Voice of Crimea» and «Peninsula» has gone to Bakhchisarai. Its structure included Abdureshit Dzhepparov (the head «Milli hareket partisi»), Rustem Emirov (the head of public organisation «Crimea-yurtas»), Jakub Ipchi (the head of public organisation «Irade»), Rustem Beljalov (the chairman of the Revision committee of public organisation «Аrkadash»), Robesper Gralov (a member of «Milli Firka»). The trip purpose was on a place to check up reliability of messages of the Crimean mass-media about coffee house building.
Having arrived to the Khan palace, public figures have first of all visited the Persian court yard. It is necessary to notice, what is it a court yard of the big sizes which the Falcon tower adjoins. The small part of territory adjoining a tower is thus arranged well only. The big part of a court yard in which it is possible to distinguish still traces of former archeological excavations. A ground on which, according to Galina Grzhibovskaya, there should be a coffee house, it has appeared directly at an input in a court yard and has been fenced by stones. Any traces of building there it has not appeared. Was not neither cement, nor concrete, other signs of building. It have obviously dug over and groung have already delivered. Having finished survey, the delegation has gone to the director of the Bakhchsarai historical and cultural reserve Evgenie Petrov. That has received at once visitors and has answered their questions.

«I consider, that is it simply direct provocation. Have tried to make of a fly an elephant. Really we do a flower bed. I have been warned that on second of August there comes the President of Ukraine. And we did all under the project which has been developed in 2002», — the director at once has declared. At the same time Evgenie Vladimirovich has been compelled to recognise that with Dzhemilev’s son conducted negotiations. «Yes, there was such situation, here I passed with Hajser, he spoke, where would be potentially possible to arrange, let us assume, coffee preparation so that three-four persons could see as though an explication of ceremony of a meeting of visitors by means of a coffee entertainment. And here we went and looked, where it is possible to arrange it. But here (in the Persian court yard) we planned nothing». On assurances of the director, the flower bed on this place has been conceived for a long time.« In 2002 the project on arrangement of this site has been developed. The rest is not equipped, because yet to the full archeological excavations there are not made. It is necessary to reveal all objects, and then to make already preservation and restoration, up to that all this big Persian court yard to involve as excursion object.For now this part is involved only… Alie Ibragimova should finish these works, and would finish them today, if not Salachik. That under the Turkish project of work were conducted very intensively near to Zyndzhyrly medrese, it has concentrated all efforts, as the archeologist, in that area. Therefore we here have not completed ». Besides two baths which have been found out earlier during excavation, Evgenie Petrov hopes to find in the Persian court yard also two cases and the big pool which are specified on the plan of a palace of the end of a XVIII-th century. At the same time on that place where the flower bed to arrival of the president is now equipped, according to the director of the reserve, any objects in the past did not settle down. Moreover, according to Evgenie Vladimirovich, in 50-60 of the past century employees of a museum have broken kitchen gardens on a place of a court yard. In this connection« on a shovel bayonet there all is dug through. Because there put every year a potato and any vegetable cultures cultivated. Therefore about infringement there the occupation layer cannot be and speeches », — the director has declared to representatives of the public. Moreover, he is revolted by that in some mass-media the situation moves as building on bones.« What bones! Here bones cannot be. It is not a mezarlik (cemetery). Меzarlik is in it is made other part of a palace. Here never buried nobody. It specially to touch and, look, have begun with Mustafa Dzhemilev. It is obviously political farce ».
«But if bones are not present, means it is possible to build, your way?», — one of public figures has mistrustfully asked. «Yes it is impossible to build there in general anything! That is not the question», — Petrov has exclaimed. «But it is to the correspondent that — has seemed? 30 centimetres of building dust were!», — the public man was not appeased, reminding of the publication in «the Crimean truth». «We collected Building dust to arrange a flower bed. The ceramics gathers, all firm subjects gather to plant in the earth flowers. Therefore they have been collected in a heap», — the director has minded on it. In turn representatives of five public organisations have asked for it guarantees of that coffee house building will not be conducted. On what Evgenie Petrov has firmly promised that it will not occur. «Yes it also could not be in the Khan palace because it is impossible. It is the madman it is necessary to be, that such things to do», — has assured public men Petrov.
What is further?
But anyway actually, in the history with prospective building of a coffee house in the Khan palace clearly that only active intervention of the public is capable to improve a state of affairs in sphere of preservation and studying of a national cultural and historical heritage. But in any case, the Crimean Tatars should operate henceforth more actively and to be more responsible to all volume, as to memory of their ancestors. It is necessary, that the public has seriously attended to a problem of inclusion of the Khan palace in the list of a world heritage of UNESCO. This question already rose several years ago, but, unfortunately, to this day stuck in air.
