Separatism Does Not Threaten Crimea

The head of SSU Valery Khoroshkovsky does not agree that in Crimea separative moods are developed.

«I consider that separatism does not threaten Crimea, at the given stage — so is exact. Yes, there a bit other culture. Yes, historically so has developed that the majority of the population there speaks in Russian. But in Crimea there live Ukrainians, and they feel Ukrainians, including, by the way, and in Sevastopol. Therefore I can not say that in Crimea for today separative moods are developed», — head of SSU has told.

As he said, just with internal policy change in Ukraine — change of the relation to Russian, Russian culture etc. — those separative moods which were observed earlier, will cease, because the meaning will be lost.

«I always say that with such things as mood in a society, it is necessary to manage is very thin. It is impossible to impose anything. If, I am sorry for the roughness, all time beat in a nose, that, certainly, you start to turn aside — you want that or not. In Crimea a concrete historical situation, accordingly, if we wish it to change, it is necessary to work is thin, through education, school. Naturally, changes will come not soon, but in five-ten years such tactics will yield the confident, steady result», — Khoroshkovsky is assured.
