Interests of the Crimean Tatars will be protected
On April, 27th, acting at session of Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, the President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych has declared: «the State policy in relation to the Crimean Tatar population last years is insufficient, and it needs correcting».
According to Yanukovych, the special national program in the near future will be prepared and the administrative body which will watch its execution is created.
Thereupon the first deputy of the president of Ukraine in Crimea Vladimir Kazarin has noticed that the Crimean Tatars have apprehended these words of the President of Ukraine with hope, informs an official site of Permanent mission of the President of Ukraine in ARC.
«They (the Crimean Tatars) have accurately heard: Victor Yanukovych has promised to protect their interests. It means only one — interests of the Crimean Tatars, as well as others national communities, will be protected. On it work of Representation of the President of Ukraine in Autonomous republic Crimea» is also directed, — Kazarin has assured.
