The president of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych notices that restoration of historical justice concerning illegally deported Crimean Tatar people and persons of other nationalities became possible only with revival of independence of Ukraine which alone continues to solve questions of restoration of the rights of deported.

It is told in the telegramme which the head of the state has directed to Crimea in connection with 66th anniversary of deportation of the Crimean Tatar people. The telegramme was read on Monday, on May, 17th, at the mourning session devoted to Day of memory of victims of deportation, by the Crimean prime minister Vasily Dzharty.

«Restoration of historical justice became possible only with revival of independence of Ukraine which, remained alone with tragedy consequences, makes all efforts for restoration of the rights of the Crimean Tatars and everyone deported on a national sign», — Victor Yanukovych has noted in the telegramme.

He has reminded that 66 years since then when the Crimean Tatars have been sent by the decision of a totalitarian Stalin mode in the remote areas of the central Asia, Siberia and Ural Mountains are executed. Thus their thousand were lost, without having sustained mockeries and deprivations. At the same time the head of the state reminds that to 40th years of the XX-th century force had been took out from Crimea also Germans, Greeks, Italians, Armenians, Bulgarians, Turks, Kurds, Persians.

Yanukovych notices that for years of independence of Ukraine has been made much for arrangement of repatriates: problems are almost solved with granting of citizenship of Ukraine by it, they are actively involved in decision-making by enforcement authorities and local government, more and more Crimean Tatar youth get education in higher educational institutions of Ukraine.

«We also are proud of that in independent Ukraine there were no serious conflicts on an international basis», — the President of Ukraine has noted.
