The situation with preventing to building of the Cathedral mosque in Simferopol is noted in the annual report of US State department published one of these days on a condition of human rights in the world countries.

In the report to be said that «the city council cancelled earlier made decision on allocation of a ground for mosque building in February, 2008 and has allocated a site in undesirable a place».

Except preventing to building of a cult construction of the Crimean Moslems, in the State department report other certificates of discrimination of the Crimean Tatars people are marked also.

In particular, the Crimean Tatars are insufficiently presented in the Crimean and national parliaments. Making 13 percent of the population of peninsula, Tatars have eight places from 100 in a representative body of Crimea. Only one Crimean Tatar is the deputy of national parliament.

As it is marked in the report, the Crimean Tatars assert that discrimination from outside local officials deprives of their equal possibilities for employment in local administrations and that propaganda campaigns bring up hatred in relation to them among other inhabitants.

In the document unequal access of the Crimean Tatars to the landed property also is noted.

Besides, the US State department marks cases of display of racial and national intolerance concerning gipsies and other persons of not slavic appearance. In the country incidents of violence and discrimination of women and children are noticed.

The serious infringer of human rights in Ukraine on former there is a militia. Abusing cases from outside power structures, including beatings and tortures of arrested persons and prisoners, severe constraints in prisons, excessive application of force at detention, illegal and long imprisonment before trail take place.

Besides, authors of the document mark the inefficient and corrupted system of justice.

Serious problem for Ukraine there is also a human trafic.
