The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Ahmed Davudoglu has proposed to create analogue of the European Union in Eurasia. He has declared it on Thursday, on February, 4th, during a meeting with ambassadors of Turkey in the countries of Eurasia.

«Eurasia can become an economic driving power. This region leaves with the potential the conflicts. Today for this purpose there is a political will. Look at development of our relations with Russia. In region new possibilities for cooperation» are opened, — the head of Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has declared.

As the newspaper «Sabah» informs, the Turkish minister has called for development and strengthening political and economic ties between the countries of Eurasia, and also has paid attention that rich power stocks of region and the countries which surround Turkey, can effectively advance economic. «Any country has no chances of development in the isolated position. If in Eurasia the world and prosperity they cannot be ensured on a planet as a whole» does not dominate, — has noted Davudoglu, having called the region countries for dialogue top-level.

Therefore, according to the Turkish minister, it is necessary for countries of Eurasia to create networks of the railway, overland and marine message. Aa an example he named the future branch line of Baku-Tbilisi-Kars which «in the shortest way» will connect Central and South East Asia to the European Union. Davudoglu has underlined that for Turkey all countries of Eurasia have strategic significance.

According to the Turkish minister, economic and political connections between the countries of Eurasia today it is necessary to develop by creation between them networks of the railway, overland and marine message. According to Turkish political scientist Kahraman Bozel, Ankara does not want activization of the USA in region of Black sea and consequently willingly goes on the union with Moscow. However, in its opinion, «hardly the USA will allow to be realised to this union as thus they lose the control over this huge territory».

Therefore, according to the political scientist, the region enters again an active phase of geopolitical struggle. Opposition the West-east in a near-term outlook, probably, will tend to an aggravation on the Balkans, the Near East and caucasus — with allowance for activization of the USA in the Black Sea pool, the big petroleum game round Caspian sea, communication war for the control over the post-Soviet territory and geostrategy changes in the Near East and on Caucasus.
