Still recently it seemed that Medzhlis has managed to adjust relations with the new power. From outside President Victor Yanukovych and the head of the government of an autonomy Vasily Dzharty a number of positive signals for the Crimean Tatars has sounded.
As already wrote agency e-Crimea, the head of Medzhlis is compelled to balance with Mustafa Dzhemilev between the status of the person agreeing with Party of Regions, and position of the oppositionist. Meanwhile, if at first such balancing could be perceived by regionals as an inevitable condition of the politician fluctuating between two camps a month later they have understood that Dzhemilev has made a choice — he has decided to remain in opposition. In the answer Medzhlis has received «the first prevention» — the head of Kirov regional state administration Kadyr Osmanov has lost the armchair. Dismissal of the chairman of Bakhchsarai DSA Ilmi Umerov can become second «surprise».
It is possible not to doubt that dismissal of Umerov will entail response of Medzhlis. It is necessary to guess only about forms of this reaction.
During reformatting of the Crimean power and change of heads of the district state administrations the thought that Medzhlis can leave in opposition already sounded, having urged the representatives to leave authorities — first of all, from Ministerial council and presidium of the Supreme Rada of Crimea. Such offers sound and now. This decision becomes the extreme form of reaction of Medzhlis, a trump which will lay out only when becomes clear that regionals also have decided to play for high stakes.
The first, on what can count Medzhlis in this case — on negative reaction of the international public. Europeans will apprehend a situation in Crimea as a serious stain on image of the new power. From this point of view for Victor Yanukovych game will not worth the trouble. Also it is possible to speak about the factor of international instability on peninsula, after all Medzhlis will not be limited to leaving from authorities, and will begin parallel protest actions. And it too will be bad advertising for the country leaders.
However all it will occur in case promoted workers of Medzhlis will leave authorities. But it yet more than conversations. It is not necessary to forget and about that, how much strongly covered officials in body of national self-management which will insist on other forms of the protest. Besides, in the answer the Crimean power can apply other tactics: to a vacant place of the representative of Medzhlis to appoint someone from loyal to regionals the Crimean Tatars. As the vivid example the situation with the head of Genichesky regional council of the Kherson area Sejtumer Nimetullaev whom designate to the place of Ilmi Umerov though as earlier main applicant was called the head of the Bakhchsarai organisation of Party of Regions Valentina Krashkina can serve. Also it is possible to take out from a pack of the people who left in opposition to Medzhlis and have departed from the active policy.
But, perhaps, the most unpleasant that can wait Medzhlis, it is split of its numbers — when a part of officials recommendations of representation body will urge not to follow and not to submit the letter of resignation. In Medzhlis should understand that regionals also will not be idle, and game will turn out va-bank.
