The public organisation «Milli Firka» has addressed to compatriots on the eve of the second round of presidential elections of Ukraine. In particular, in the circulations which text news agency QHA possesses, it is told:

«On January, 17th three from each five voters — our compatriots (58 %) have not supported on elections in the first round of any of candidates on a post of the head of the Ukrainian state. Milli Firka thanks you for understanding of call-up of our organisation to make the protest to a discrimination of the Ukrainian authorities concerning the Crimean Tatars thus. For the past of 18 years central and local authorities for us have not made anything».

Also, the opposition to Medzhlis, the Crimean Tatar people notices that, despite such policy of the centre, leaders of Medzhlis call us actively to vote for one of candidates, Yulia Timoshenko. «But whether it is possible to trust ineffective promise of applicants?

For example, Yulia Timoshenko, being in power, ignored picket of the Crimean Tatars in Kiev at the Cabinet council building in a current of 100 days. Its command in the Supreme Rada of Ukraine amicably voted for the law on the criminal liability for «self-grabs» of the earth which is directly directed against the Crimean Tatars. The Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has persuaded a management of Uzbekistan not to manufacture 100 thousand Crimean Tatars to Crimea, and she voted against Declarations on the rights of the radical people, the accepted General Assembly of the United Nations in 2008. Her government has three times reduced budgetary financing of programs of arrangement of our compatriots in the homeland, and power structures were on her order prepared to smash self-systems in Crimea », — is underlined in circulation.

Thus, «Milli Firka» does not praise highly also Yulia Timoshenko opponent — Victor Yanukovych. «And other candidate is nothing better. Victor Yanukovych, being in power and in opposition, in any way has not shown the intentions under the decision of a Crimean tatar problem according to norms of democracy and international law», — complain in «Milli Firka».

The front office urges today people and politicians not as they said, and on their businesses. «Therefore the one who concrete businesses will show the political will and determination can receive support of the Crimean Tatars only to restore in full the rights of our people», — declare «Milli Firka». Milli Firka confirms the item: «it not our elections. Therefore« Milli Firka »urges you not to support in the second round Timoshenko, Yanukovych. Let’s demonstrate once again our protest to a discrimination conducted by the authorities, we will show our will and determination to continue struggle for the birth rights to the Native land in Crimea», — it is told in circulation with a much-promising title — «It’s Six of One to Half a Dozen of the Other».

As experts mark, such Crimean Tatar item is faster than the organisation on a hand to Yanukovych, rather than Timoshenko as it is directed first of all on narrowing of her electoral base. It is confirms by the authentic sources testifying to contacts of «Mili Firka» with a local staff of Yanukovych.
