A Memory of the Active Worker of National Movement Muhsim Osmanov Was Honoured in Simferopol

On February, 23rd in Crimean Tatar library of I.Gasprinskiy »veterans of national movement, representatives of the Crimean Tatar public honoured memory and the 80 anniversary from the date of a birth of the active participant of national movement Muhsim Osmanov.

The daughter of the true patriot and fighter Elmira Osmanova has suggested to name one of streets in village Demirdzhi (v. Luchistoe) under Alushta a name of the tireless participant of national movement of Muhsim Osmanov.

«My father on a level with other our active workers has worked hard, for our people have returned home. For what has not been once condemned. And I would like you to support and help to name one of streets in village where he lived earlier,by his name», — Elmira Hanum has told, having addressed to an audience.

This idea was supported also by other visitors who have come to honour memory of the person who has played an important role in the history of returning of the Crimean Tatars to the historical native land.

As has been noted during actionby Sejran-odzha Useinov,the crimean Tatar people should struggle for a name of each active worker. He has underlined importance of presence in the history of the Xrimean tatar people of such names, as Noman Chelebidzhihan, Dzheppar Akimov, Muhsim Osmanov who have devoted the life to service to the Native land and the people.

«We should know the heroes by sight and consequently I think that to this person in capital of Crimea a monument should be established. Moreover, the gallery devoted to people, as Muhsim Osmanov, Dzhappar Akimov, Bekir Osmanov and many other people» should be created, — he has explained.

The inquiry. Muhsim Osmanov was born on February, 23rd, 1930 in village Demirdzhi (v. Luchistoe under Alushta). In 1944 together with a family has been deported from Crimea in a vicinity of Fergana of the Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. Since 1953 gets acquainted and actively co-operates with founders of arising national movement as Bekir Osmanov, Dzheppar Akimov, etc.

Many times went to Moscow as the representative of the Crimean Tatar people.
