On April, 20th the assistant to the Constant Representative of the President of Ukraine in ARC Ibraim Mamutov, having learnt about the hunger-strike declared by the active worker of national movement Bekir Umerov in protest at an arbitrariness of the city authorities of Simferopol, has arranged for it a meeting with mayor Gennady Babenko. It was informed to news agency QHA by Bekir Umerov.
«So, yesterday, after carrying out of certain conversation, Gennady Babenko has taken care of that in an hour to me have given out one of documents which could not give out me already throughout more than two years. And at present, all look like business has started to move ahead. However, it still means nothing. I will continue hunger-strike until I will see that from outside the Crimean authorities any actions in the decision of problems of the Crimean Tatars connected with the earth» will not be undertaken, — Umerov has explained.

Let’s notice that today — 17 day of hunger-strike of Bekir Umerov. He still regards the condition as satisfactory. His relatives very much worry about it, however continue to support it in it.

Let’s remind that the inhabitant of Simferopol Bekir Umerov driven to despair by illegal actions of city officials, has started to hold the hunger-strike declared by it on April, 6th of current year. Preventing by city officials to granting to it of the ground area for economic activities conducting became the reason of so radical actions. The matter is that all documentation on ground area operation to the address: Simferopol, 321a Sevastopol Street, since 2007, there has passed the coordination in all demanded instances, however the present main architect of Simferopol Irina Nemchenko, referring to the expiration of periods of validity of some documents and on other far-fetched facts, interferes with allocation of a site and conducting on it to lawful economic activities.
