Act of terrorism in Domodedovo became for the leader of Medzhlis, Mustafa Dzhemilev a fine occasion to PR the structure before the Ukrainian power. One of these days on air of TV channel «Inter» where conversation on consolidation threat in Crimea of positions of every possible Islamic radical currents has come, Dzhemilev hinted again that Medzhlis — the best means of restraint of extremists.

And it was quite explainable. First, Islamites make a competition to Medzhlis in struggle for minds and hearts of the Crimean Tatars. And secondly, radicals — a fine scarecrow, specifying on which Dzhemilev and company it is always transparent hint officials: if don’t want to deal with these gloomy bearded guys, support us.

But on «Inter» the leader of Medzhlis has sounded also something brand new. Now he asserts that among the Crimean Islamites weight Russian and other «not radical». And that supposedly the Ukrainian special services or exaggerate danger of extremism, or plainly to struggle with it not in a condition.

In particular, Dzhemilev has reminded of arrest of members of grouping «At-Takrir-val-Hidzhra», spent in 2009 during joint special action SSU and the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Then agents of national security declared that arrested persons prepared murder of the head of Medzhlis as to it has been taken out takfir — charge in disbelief.

«Round it was a lot of noise, but, as far as I know, these people are already released. Any proofs of that they prepared an act of terrorism, probably, haven’t found», — he has declared.

Thus, Dzhemilev insisted that radical Muslim groupings «aren’t peculiar for Crimea, don’t correspond to traditional Islam in Crimea, are introduced from the outside».

«Among members of» Hizb-ut-Tahrir »and Wahhabites there are many people not an Islamic origin. Slavs, Russian and Ukrainians», — were underlined by Mustafa-efendi.

How mister Dzhemilev associates see countersteering to distribution of radical Islamism, we argue below. While we will notice that on air of «Inter» he either has told lies, or has shown scandalous incompetence in a question which concerns, among other, and lives of the deputy. Because, as has informed «New Region» a source close to special services, even in the summer of last year of 8 members of the Crimean cell of «At-Takrir-val-Hidzhra» for various crimes, including, connected with a weapon turn, have been condemned for terms from 5 to 12 years.

For example, the ideologist of the organization by a nickname Ahmed-tvmaster has received 5 years for illegal storage and a turn of the automatic weapon and an explosive, and now, nonstop, brings down wood in the Western Ukraine. His colleague Ismail Ismailov who tried in the night from 17 to 18th May, 2007 to shoot the religious opponent of the movement, one of wahabite amirs in Crimea Arsen Dzheljalov, has obtained 12 years…

Other members of grouping have received for 6-9 years of prison for robberies and armed assaults which they carried out for refill of treasury of the organization and material maintenance of jihad. Certainly, on freedom there were other colleagues but, probably, special services have made it not in an amnesty attack.

Other ending at this history also couldn’t be, as members of «At-Takrir-val-Hidzhra», except Dzhemilev, have taken out takfir to one of the senior officers SSU who is engaged in working out of the terrorist organizations. The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Yury Lutsenko as his department clashed with special service didn’t mention it after arrest of Islamites and, at that point in time.

But it is all details. Where it is more interesting, why Dzhemilev has started to press that the main danger of Islamic radicalism proceeds more and more from Slavs, instead of Tatars. Long opposition of a Medzhlis and the Crimean grouping of party «Hizb-ut-Tahrir« possessing solid financial, human and media resources, has led to that Dzhemilev has crushed a number of smaller wahabite groupings. Recently quite often special services fix, for example, as supporters of some radical currents participated in power support of Medzhlis self-captures. Probably, as advocates of «At-Takrir-val-Hidzhra Mustafa-efendi» has tried to rehabilitate too for the purpose of the further domestication.

It is not a secret that Medzhlis and steadily loses prestige for a long time also influence among the Crimean Tatars. And even by rather quite good result on last local elections Medzhlis members are more obliged not to own political weight, and that their opponents of type of party «Milli Firka» haven’t grown from children’s panties, have a considerable touch and don’t supervise the monetary streamlets flowing on arrangement of repatriates. Two decades functionaries of «national movement» not bad are fed on Niva of «protection of the rights of the radical people». To this trough they don’t admit strangers.

Meanwhile, the new generation of ambitious young men who too wish to occupy a niche in Tatar politicum has grown. The Game rules created by Dzhemilev and the company, push this contingent towards radical Islamism. As a result, the intraethnic conflict between a great bulk of the Crimean Tatars whom Medzhlis doesn’t supervise, and Islamites control over which can appear fiction is put.

On peninsula the explosive potential which if the abscess bursts, can bring many troubles not only to Crimeans, but also to Dzhemilev personally collects. Anyway, once he was sentenced to the death penalty…
