Milli Firka Urges to Create an United Front for Participation in Local Elections

On October, 31st in Ukraine will pass local elections. In Crimea deputies rural, regional, regional in a city, city councils, and also deputies of Supreme Rada ARC will be selected. Under the new law elections will pass on the mixed system, and the main subject of elections are parties. Offered innovations considerably narrow possibilities to select deputies Crimean Tatars and new parties who was not in time one year prior to elections legally to register the local branches.

Unfortunately, and this time we are the Crimean Tatars are not ready to high-grade independent participation in elections as the complete people. We don’t have either the registered party, or sufficient resources, and the most important thing — is not present unity and the consolidated political will to struggle seriously for the power in Crimea. And new rules of elections even more aggravate our with our depressing position.

In these conditions for reception greatest possible for the people of positive result association of available forces and nation resources is necessary. It is necessary to exclude completely any competition among themselves on elections and to provide indispensable conscious participation of each compatriot in voting on October, 31st.

Milli Firka calls all compatriots and all political forces to unite in an united front for the sake of protection of our national interests. Milli Firka suggests all to be consolidated round the uniform program of revival of the Crimean Tatar people, construction in Crimea our statehood — programs of realisation of the ORDER of the Crimean Tatar people and the DECLARATION on the national sovereignty of the Crimean Tatar people.

Let’s reject aside all having between us of misunderstanding and disagreements for the sake of the general advantage and the general interests. We can and should find forces for resolute association of our national community for reception of the greatest possible result on elections coming in October and the maximum representation of the Crimean Tatars in local councils and authorities.
