Crimean «tadpole» — political scientist Alexander Formanchuk considers that with new political «elite» the Crimean Tatars will achieve building of Dzhuma-Dzhami (the Cathedral mosque). He has stated such opinion on March, 19th at press conference in Simferopol.
In his opinion, the Crimean Tatars not only will save the positions in the power of an autonomy (bad shot, Alexander Andreevich), but also will achieve the question decision on building of Dzhuma-Dzhami: «I think, the only thing that it will be necessary to make that Tatars easy go in a waterway of a today’s policy, it is necessary to solve a problem of the Cathedral mosque».
Let’s remind, in 2004 session of the Simferopol City Council the decision on the coordination to Spiritual management of Moslems of Crimea the location and the sizes of the ground area for building of the Cathedral mosque around 22 Yaltinskaya Street was accepted. However later deputies have refused ground area tap to the specified address. In 2008 they have co-ordinated the mosque location on a site along the 6, Lugovaya Street and in February of the same year the Simferopol City Council recognised the ground area around 22 Yaltinskaya Street and a zone adjoining to it forest-park.
In the end of February of current year the People’s Deputy of Ukraine Boris Deitch in the post card has called deputies of Simferopol and mayor Gennady Babenko to reject political disagreements and to consider the problem on site allocation under building of the Cathedral mosque.
The Simferopol deputies have promised to return to consideration of a question after carrying out of public hearings. And things are right where they started…
