In Crimea, as well as it is necessary to an autonomy, there is a specificity and the requests to candidates for presidents. One week prior to the first round of voting the majority of political forces of Crimea were already advanced with support of applicants for the maximum post in the country. But, in a camp of the Tatar national movement to last for a situation remained uncertain.

Community of the Crimean Tatars — one of the most numerous in Ukraine ethnic and religious minority. Last years the Crimean Tatars always voted consolidated. In the same time, at least in the first round, the accurate and adjusted item among Tatars is not present. Even national congress unequivocally was not advanced with the political favourite. In the beginning of December Kurultaj of the Tatar people has urged compatriots to vote for candidates who are democrats, but is real recently its structures and a press agitate for not absolutely democratic Yulia Timoshenko.

At the same time, oppositional to Medzhlis the political organisation «Milli Firka» has urged the Crimean Tatars to boycott elections …

But, nevertheless, judging by the previous experience and knowing prevailing tones inside Crmean Tatar national movement, experts suppose that the majority of the Crimean Tatars will not vote for Yulia Timoshenko.
