Мedzhlis perceives signing and ratification of a Russian-Ukrainian language of the agreement on prolongation of term of stay of the Black Sea fleet of Russia in Crimea as threat to the Crimean Tatars, one of heads of Medzhlis Ali Hamzin has declared in interview Prof Union. For this reason they will insist on attraction of other countries and the international organisations for protection of the Crimean Tatars, the decision of their problems and definition of the future destiny of the Crimean Tatar people.

The head of department of external relations of Medzhlis has called for carrying out of special international conference about destiny of the Crimean Tatar people and its native land — Crimea. According to a member of Medzhlis, the Kharkov agreements will call an acute crisis in Ukraine which can even lead to state disintegration, simultaneously with strengthening of influence of Russia in region. And it will really threaten the existence of the Crimean Tatar people.

Ali Hamzin is convinced that official Moscow wiil not stop on the Black Sea fleet and will try «to make Crimea truly Russian». And it means that for the Crimean Tatars «there has come a new stage of tests which will be difficult, and to Crimean Tatar national movement needs to prepare for it». Ali Hamzin supposes that «development of the most unforeseen situations for the Crimean Tatars is possible».

The head of department of external relations of Medzhlis has told that the exit for the Crimean Tatar people in achieving from the foreign governments and the international structures of convocation of the international conference which could protect the Crimean Tatars and define its future. As he said, looks that Ukraine is not capable independently neither to solve a problem of the Crimean Tatar people, nor to protect own sovereignty.
